Richard J Dolmat
President & CEO
Richard has been running Digital Sound Magic Recording Studios Ltd. for over 23 years. He’s very proud to be the recipient of numerous awards and accolades throughout his long and successful career. He is fluent in English, Japanese and some Polish which makes it a great advantage over other studios when providing services for clients around the world. After expanding to become a multi-national corporation, and with a world-wide network of partners, Richard is ready to lead Digital Sound Magic to greater services for their global clientele.
Karilynne is originally from Victoria, BC. As COO, she coordinates the daily operations of our studio and staff, and communicates with clients from all over the world. She has an in-depth knowledge of the television, film, and game industries which allows her to predict trends and easily navigate projects. As a working voice talent herself, she also has a thorough understanding of all angles of production and takes pride in the high standards she expects not only of herself but of everyone she works with.
Chief Audio Officer
Guillermo has always loved music and has been a guitar player since youth. He found a home on the other side of the glass with Digital Sound Magic and enjoys working with talented actors, directors, and musicians to help them realize their creative vision. Along with a top notch education from Nimbus School of Recording, Guillermo is ready and willing to put his skills to use for you.
Chief Talent Coordinator
Danii moved from rural Alberta to further pursue her voice over career. Armed with voice over and radio broadcasting training and experience, she has the skills and passion to tackle any part of the process. She prides herself on her exceptional organization and dedication to a job well done, while still maintaining a perfect level of fun: the best motivator!
Amanda has always loved music, and has been singing ever since she can remember. Graduating from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program, Amanda has the unique experience of performing in front of and behind the mic. With this knowledge, Amanda is able to translate this behind the scenes to create as smooth of a process as possible!
Sean grew up in the beautiful province of New Brunswick. Now living on the opposite coast of the country, he makes sure to bring East Coast vibes and French culture to all of his work. Sean’s detailed approach to a script comes from his many years of studying theatre at schools in Ottawa and Vancouver. His work has been seen on stages all across North America and his voice can be heard all around the world.
Liam is very passionate about audio, his life revolves around it. With a diploma in post production & game audio and an enthusiastic, driven attitude, he makes sure every project he works on is top-notch quality. If he isn’t at DSM polishing up the next big project, he’s in his studio producing new music, collaborating with other artists or running his record label.
Chris is passionate about two things in life, people and audio. He found a place to combine these passions to by joining the team at Digital Sound Magic. Armed with an education from Nimbus School of Recording and Media, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm, he loves working with the team to make projects shine. When he isn’t at work, he can be found writing music, hanging out with friends, or trying to keep his most recent vehicle project running.
Daniel is originally from Alberta but moved to Vancouver after realizing his passion for music. After attending Nimbus School of Recording and Media for electronic music production, he landed a job at Digital Sound Magic to diversify his skills as an audio engineer outside of music. On his off time, Daniel produces electronic music, DJs for venues, and spends as much time as he can outdoors.
Sharon is a multilingual sound girl originally from Taiwan. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in language arts, she decided to follow her passion for music and dive into the magical world of sound. Now armed with an education from Nimbus School of Recording, she is ready and willing to make you sound good.
Brent is a self-proclaimed nerd for all things related to audio. This passion led him to study at Nimbus School of Recording after graduating from UBC. When he’s not in the studio making your project sound amazing, you can find him designing bleeps, bloops, and beats in Ableton or on the ski hill chasing fresh powder.
Head of Happiness
Being the Head of Happiness, Emma understands the importance of mental health in the workplace. She loves to make everyone smile and is always ready to lend a paw to anyone who needs a little help. While she technically works for DSM on a volunteer basis, she has asked us to add that, when possible, belly rubs are always appreciated.
