Richard J Dolmat
Richard has been running Digital Sound Magic Recording Studios for over 20 years. He’s very proud to be the recipient of numerous awards and accolades throughout his long and successful career. He is fluent in English, Japanese and some Polish which makes it an advantage over other studios when dubbing for clients around the world. Watch our CEO on CTV giving expert audio advice.
Jenny has brilliant ideas! Jenny’s love of organizing makes her a great fit for the role of producer and creative director. Her superior editing skills and copywriting experience also bring added punch and saleability to any written material. Jenny also helps clients with their presentations by guiding the performances of company leaders and actors.
Originally from the Prairies, Christy studied Theatre before building her career in business. With years of experience in management (and being a voiceover artist herself) she brings her skills in communication and organization to the daily operations of Digital Sound Magic Studios.
Head Engineer / Producer
Hailing from Victoria BC, Sandy spent many a year on the road as a touring musician before graduating with distinction from a Vancouver based audio engineering program. Armed with an amiable demeanour and a breadwinning beard, he is now happily integrated as the resident knob twiddler and button presser at Digital Sound Magic Recording Studios.

Francisco is originally from Toronto, Ontario. He studied audio engineering at Nimbus School of Recording Arts, and joined the Digital Sound Magic team shortly after graduating. He is always smiling and in a great mood, probably because he gets to work with such awesome people.

Jeff studied music at MacEwan University and has since found a home on the other side of the glass, working with talented actors, directors, and musicians to help them realize their creative vision. Along with a top notch education from Nimbus School of Recording, Jeff is ready and willing to put his skills to use for you at Digital Sound Magic Recording Studios.
Devon is from Vancouver, BC. He has always had a strong passion for audio. Discovering his first DAW in elementary school, Devon has lived and breathed audio ever since. He studied post production at Nimbus School of Recording Arts before joining the dream team at Digital Sound Magic.
Jake is passionate about all things audio and loves to team up with all kinds of artists, companies, and organizations. On most days you can find him with headphones on in the studio, exploring the outdoors with his wife and rescue pup, dancing in the local hip-hop scene, and making noise. On a more serious note, food is definitely the way to his heart!
Ethan grew up in Comox, BC. The Nimbus School of Recording brought him to Vancouver and presented him with many incredible opportunities ranging from voice actors to orchestras. He is surrounded by Nimbus family at Digital Sound Magic and puts his skills to the test each day .
With all the energy Anita has, we’d swear she popped out of an anime! Originally from Manitoba, Anita brings her passion to the mic as one of the studio’s talented voice-over directors. Whether it be an animation or narration, every read never has a dull moment.
Born and raised in Vancouver; Johnny has worked in film, broadcasting, and the voice biz’ for over 15 years. In addition: Johnny owns GoJo Media, and is both a musician and a personal trainer as well. When not working (which is rare), he can be found at the gym, climbing a mountain, skiing, or doing an adventure race such as Tough Mudder or a marathon.
Jason Nickel is a highly sought after Vancouver-based jazz/funk and rock bassist and award-winning composer with multiple film and TV credits to his name. In 2000, he partnered with Richard to expand the studio’s music catalog. Their catchy tunes have been featured in countless TV shows and films around the world.
Head of Happiness
Being the Head of Happiness, Guinness is happy even when he’s sleeping. If you don’t want to play with him, he doesn’t care. He’ll keep nudging you until you give in. And then you’ll be his best friend in the world (until he gets hungry. Then he’ll just walk away).
